Casino Atomic is a Paris born electro rock combo, created last winter (2007-2008) by Ruben de Vegas and Jack Boomtown. Ruben and Jack, who had been working together for 5 years, mostly as TV and advertising music writers/producers, started by writing and laying down the basic tracks for "Little Penny", and had the crazy idea to ask Trixie Doll to perform the vocal line. They loved the result, and immediately worked with her on a 2008 revisited version of "Born in Xixax", one of Nina Hagen’s cult underground songs, which deeped them into that very particular cold war atmosphere, that inspired them the "Atomic TV" series, which epidodes you can now discover every week on this very same site, or on MySpace.tv and Facebook…

The trio then asked guitar player/mixer Leonid Zitron, bass player Silvio Barone, and second vocalist Tootsie Burns. to join the experience during springtime : They produced all together other songs like "Kate Moss".

The Casino Atomic concept was born : A multi influenced electro rock band, celebrating the renewal of a special party spirit, Their songs act just like energy drinks, walking on the edge of a permanent "decalage", with catchy gimmicks and Trixie’s unique vocal lines, performing fakely naive lyrics.

During summer 2008, the band, who has a strong visual preoccupation, produced the funny video for "Little Penny", and also wrote and shot the first season of the infamous "Atomic TV" series, which episodes can be discovered every week on the band’s sites. Now based in Klow, Syldavia (kingdom of Ottokar IIl), Casino Atomic is currently working on new studio tracks and are also preparing live appearances, probably for spring 2009.
